Principles of Design

Balance

Emphasis

Proportion

Unity

Rhythm / Harmony

Every design principle has different meaning as perceived by the one controlling the dots and lines. The interpretation depends a lot on the persons' mood, feeling, what they ate, what music they're listening to, what they experiences in past.

Here are the examples that I'd like to show that fits best to my interpretation of the design principles through only dots, only lines and a combination of the same.

Here's a video to show the transition between three different design principles, with varying number of elements and colours.

Unity -> Rhythm -> Emphasis

Here I chose to provide emphasis given to the colour RED by the end of video and not just the form created by the lines and dots and the rhythm of it.
